By accessing or using CortexDB (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Service Description

CortexDB provides a long-term memory layer for AI systems, including APIs, SDKs, and related tools for storing, retrieving, and managing memory for AI agents and applications.

3. Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you store in CortexDB. We do not claim ownership of your data. We process your data solely to provide the Service. You may export or delete your data at any time using our APIs.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Service Level

For Pro and Enterprise tiers, service level agreements (SLAs) are defined in separate agreements. The Free tier is provided as-is without uptime guarantees.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CortexDB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
